Best Cheap Crafts:
Favorite source for cheap craft materials:
My house! Crafting has always been a big part of my life, but over the past few years, I also developed a special interest in "upcycling" objects around the house that may be typically tossed out. I have collected and transformed dozens of items into stylish DIY projects and they have become some of my favorite projects.
Why she makes cheap crafts:
I love the idea of transforming “trash-worthy” items into my own unique treasures. Also, when I first began my blog, I quickly realized that crafting can be quite pricey! Plus, I didn’t have time to go to the craft store each week to restock on supplies. By repurposing items found around the house, I am able to continue crafting on a regular basis without having to burn a hole in my wallet!
Tips for cheap crafters:
Just take a look around! Ever since I started "upcycling", I cannot help to see everything around me as a potential opportunity for my next craft project. An empty wine bottle can be your new favorite vase or leftover kitchen tiles can become a set of coasters. The possibilities are truly endless when you embrace your creativity.
TERRIFIC TAKEAWAY: See everything as a potential craft project. That doesn’t mean you have to turn everything you see into a craft, but by changing your perspective, you open your eyes to possibilities you might not have otherwise noticed!
Thank you, Natalie, for your great thoughts!
