Favorite source for cheap craft materials:

The best places are old forgotten drawers and closets, even the ones that are in the kitchen! Grandma's house is a complete department store with craft shop! hahaa! But when I want to get a little inspired I usually go to the Chinese bazaars, they have lots of cool, inexpensive things to work with.

Why she makes cheap crafts:

Because for me, it makes sense to make something with your own hands that maybe you could have bought in a shop for 3 times the price. I will call it a lifestyle and a plan B to be fashionable and creative using less money.

Tips for cheap crafters:

Try to observe things with different eyes and get creative. Reuse, recycle and don't waste anything!

TERRIFIC TAKEAWAY: I love the idea that you can have a “separate set” of eyes when you are coming up with crafts.  Looking at materials in a new way can produce amazing results!

Thanks for the great perspective, Anna!
